Position Overview

Part Time Partnership Administrative Finance Assistant - Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursday's 10am - 2pm. This is a virtual position.

Role Overview

The Finance Assistant will work closely with the CFO/Controller to ensure accurate, timely financial records and smooth day-to-day accounting operations. This role is ideal for someone detail-oriented, organized, and experienced with QuickBooks who thrives in a fast-paced, service-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with data entry and transaction coding in QuickBooks Online

• Commission tracking

• Track and record client deposits, refunds, and commission payments

• Assist in preparing monthly financial reports for management

• Maintain organized digital records of invoices, receipts, and payments

• Support the Controller with ad-hoc financial projects and audits

• Communicate with vendors and advisors regarding invoice or payment inquiries

 

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience

• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online (required)

• Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills

• High attention to detail and accuracy

• Excellent organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines

• Strong communication skills and a team-player mindset

• Experience in the travel or hospitality industry a plus, but not required

 

Schedule & Compensation

• Part-time: 10–20 hours/week (flexible scheduling)

• Hybrid or remote arrangement considered

• Competitive hourly rate based on experience
