Administrative Concierge Assistant / Full Time

D.A.Luxury Travel is an industry top producing, boutique travel firm, designing itineraries for high-net-worth individuals who have "been there done that." Our team is highly creative, resourceful, and always seeking to take client itineraries to the next level.
Position Overview
The concierge support position will be responsible for assisting with planning itineraries, supporting our advisor sales team, securing reservations, and offering high level concierge services, and other travel services, for high-net-worth clients. This position is virtual.
Responsibilities

Invoicing and data entry

Detail oriented a must and demonstrate resourcefulness

Researches and provides client with area-specific travel information
-
Ability to research, analyze, and secure air, hotel/accommodation, and other travel related services through multiple channels. Air ticketing and GDS experience a plus

Proposal development
-
Provides a high level of customer service to clients.

Superb written communication etiquette
-
Prepares tentative plans and suitable alternatives, answers client objections, and closes sale by obtaining client approval.

Collects deposits and payment for travel arrangements from clients and confirms all reservations prior to travel.

Customizes individual travel packages to accommodate special needs.

Serves as general resource for client, and researches client problems and resolves issues.

Qualifications

Ideally 2+ years in hospitality

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Software

Demonstrated professional customer service skills

Capability of maintaining a favorable company image when interfacing with outside sources

Proven pursuit of learning and self-development

Capability of working in a team environment supporting our team of advisors, following policies, providing feedback, assisting in special projects, and taking on additional responsibility

Organizational skills that result in high productivity

Knowledge of luxury travel brands and trends

Knowledge of airline practices, programs & operations. GDS Sabre a bonus

Knowledge of destination geography
-
Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to develop and nurture positive partner & client relationships

Familiarity with Virtuoso network, Sabre GDS, and AXUS a plus
