Recommended For (families, couples, corporate, celebrations, etc)
La Zambra - recommended for anyone. It's suitable for families, couples, groups of friends looking for a getaway, etc.
Hotel Urso - recommended for anyone as well, as long as they enjoy a more boutique hotel experience.
Not-to-be-Missed Experience or Activity
La Zambra - spending an afternoon at the pool, followed by cocktails at Bamboleo and dinner at either Picador or Palmito. This is such a great place to unwind and just take in your surroundings, immersing yourself into the Spanish lifestyle. Heading for a day trip to Mijas is great as well - beautiful views and a great village/town to walk around and soak in some local culture.
Hotel Urso - breakfast is great (especially their tortilla espanola). Their spa experience is so private and exclusive feeling - definitely a must if anyone is looking for some wellness and/or relaxation. Dining at Casa Felisa is also a must. But - don't forget, you're in Madrid! So head out and take in the sights. I highly recommend a flamenco show as well.
Favorite culinary aspect of the hotel or region
La Zambra - all of the on-property dining options are great. There's a spot for everything.
Hotel Urso - Casa Felisa, for sure. This is a spot that many try to get reservations at, locals and tourists alike, so staying here and being able to dine on property at one of the hot spots is a privilege.
Favorite Wellness aspect of the hotel or region
La Zambra - everything! Their free fitness classes are fun and tailored to all levels. They also have a great fitness center, spa, and pool area(s).
Hotel Urso - tranquil spa in the middle of a busy city
Kudos to: refers to a guide, chef, member of hotel team, etc. that went out of their way
The whole staff at both La Zambra and Hotel Urso are incredible and do a great job of making you feel welcomed and at home.
