How to get to

Fly into Kigali and then it is a 2.5 hour drive to Volcanoes National Park for the Gorilla Trek. Guests can also helicopter to a helipad directly on the property at One and Only

Gorilla Trekking!!! A truly life changing experience.

You get one hour with a gorilla family, observing them in their natural habitat.

One and Only has an amazing bar, with their own gins that they infuse with different flavors. They also have a fabulous snack and sandwich bar that guests can stock up on food to take with them on their gorilla trek.

Beautiful spa with cold plunge, sauna, yoga pavilion and treatment rooms.


Favorite amenity 

All the gorilla trekking gear! They provide hats, backpacks, gaiters, and ponchos so you are ready to trek in the jungle.


Guests on return have their muddy hiking boots taken away for cleaning and returned to their room at the end of the day.

Our gorilla trek guide at Volcanoes National Park, Francois! He is a legend in the gorilla trekking world and at 70 years old is still guiding guests through the jungle and teaching them about these extraordinary creatures.
