It's about a 3h15m drive from Edinburgh or a 2h30m drive from Glasgow. Clients can also fly into Inverness - it's only about a 1h45m drive from Inverness.
Recommended For (families, couples, corporate, celebrations, etc)
I would recommend this property for anyone, though perhaps families with older children might be better.
Not-to-be-Missed Experience or Activity
Exploring the property is essential. Having an afternoon coffee or tea in the lounge while sitting by the fire is such a luxury - or if the weather is nice, take a walk and explore the grounds. There are paths all throughout the property with excellent views wherever you look. If it's nice out and walking isn't your thing, play chess in the front lawn!
Favorite culinary aspect of the hotel or region
Seasgair is a wonderful dining experience. Drinks and canapes start at 7:00pm and dinner begins at 7:30pm. It's a lovely 5-course meal, perfectly portioned so that you're able to continue enjoying until the end.
Favorite Wellness aspect of the hotel or region
There is no spa on property, but they do have the ability to do in-room massages. For those looking for a more in-depth spa experience, there are a few options all within 20 minutes of the hotel.

There are no amenities in particular that stand out - the turndown service is lovely, breakfast is delicious, and the overall service and guest experience is perfect.

All of the team members were very personable and eager to provide the best service. Kate made wonderful coffees and gave us some tips for local sightseeing. Caitlin, the assistant general manager, was somehow able to be everywhere at once and also gave excellent recommendations for local activities and a great hike.
